At Scoil Bhríde, the reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation are annual celebrations. Pupils observe the main events in the Liturgical Calendar with great reverence, prayerfulness and creativity. Such events include a beginning and end of year Mass, a dramatic presentation on the life of Nano Nagle on Presentation Day (20th November), Christmas Carol Service and Nativity plays. Important feasts and seasons of the Church Year are marked by the pupils’ participation in a variety of ceremonies/ prayer services. For Lá le Bríde (1st February), our 6th Classes make hundreds of St. Brigid’s Crosses, as St Brigid is our patroness, for all the newcomers to our school and for the local community. The school participates in the Lá le Pádraig procession. and Ashes are distributed throughout the school on Ash Wednesday.

Sixth Class pupils’ graduation Mass is a very special occasion for everyone.
